Are You One of Us?
I thought I was alone in this world.
I thought I was the one with a different perspective in life.
I thought I was the only one who rebel against life's conformity.
I thought I was the sole individual with unique and weird perspectives in life.
Mom and Dad pushes me to get married. They say that at the age of 28, my peers are already starting a new life. They wish I could do the same thing. They want me to start a family, but I think they only want to hold a grandchild in their arms. Unfortunately, I have a different plan in mind.
I know that I have very limited time at my disposal. I want to live my life to the fullest. I WANT TO EXPLORE THE WORLD. I would have never made this realization if I stuck with my previous job at the law firm. Sure! It was financially rewarding, but being enclosed in the four corners of the room is very suffocating. I do not wish to waste my life in such manner. I know there is more to life than money. I just don't know what that is... but I guess I have found it already.
Independence!
Individuality!
Freedom!
I LOVE these phrases. I guess it is me! Today, I have found a few individuals who share similar views.
Ayngelina, she is 35 and decided to take the traveling road. She is enjoying her life and she is happy to share her thoughts on life through her blog "Bacon is Magci". I love the name of the site, but I love the insights she shares even more. Will we ever meet? I don't know. However, reading her thoughts is enough for me to feel happy.
Laurence, he too left the corporate world. He is now enjoying his travels. I love his skill for taking wonderful images. It must be his passion for life or his energy transferred in these photographs. Seeing the images is enough to make anyone smile. Reading the thoughts of the friends he found along the way makes it even more interesting.
I will be adding more individuals I find along the way in this list. For now, I am happy to have "met" these two individuals. I pray the best for you too. May you find happiness as I do mine.

It took me 18 months to figure out how to do it financially, if it's your dream go for it. You only get to live life once!
ReplyDeleteIt has been an honor that you have responded and read through my thoughts. I really appreciate it. I was just discussing your travels with my friend over chat a while ago and you inspired us to go for our dream. I'll do my best to fulfill my dream. I will inform you once I have spread my wings. Thanks!
