I have never appreciated the habit of fixing my own bed only until recently. I found out it is a good way to start your day right. I keep my room clean and tidy before I begin work and it helped me produce wonderful articles (as my clients have stated, of course). Nevertheless, how will you get into the habit of fixing your bed after waking up in the morning?

The Magic of Notepad
I must confess, it is quite troublesome to do the littlest things in life. I began my quest by using my laptop. I placed a notepad that will remind me to fix my bed before I do any writing. Funny but it worked for me. It is one of the first things I see when I open my laptop and it motivated me to pause and fix my bed before I do anything else.

Note: If you are not a laptop addict like me; then I suppose placing a beautiful note on the first object you see in the morning will do the trick. Some consider their mobile phones as their most priced possession. It becomes one of the first things that they check when they open their eyes. Place your notepad on the screen of your phone. That is sure to keep you on track on the first things you have to do upon waking up.

The Power of Habit
The mind should always rule over the body. That is why it has been placed on top rather than elsewhere. You should let it overtake your faculties and not the whims of your body; otherwise, you will end up losing all of the virtues your parents have tried hard to instill in you.
