get the same.
| Feel good because you owe this to yourself |
Life has its own ups and downs which
generally shape the perception of how an individual sees themselves. There are
times when you may feel bad about yourself because of a number of reasons,
resulting in feelings of inferiority, unworthiness, unattractive and even
stupid. In times like these it is important to be aware of ways in which you
can be able to make yourself feel good and gain confidence in your abilities
and strengths as a human being. There are a number of ways to feel good about
yourself with some of the most common and successful ones including:
Exercise
– Doing simple exercises will help jumpstart the
body and give it the energy it needs to start off the day. These exercises can
be done either at the gym or at home depending on where you get the most
satisfaction. Most times when you are
feeling bad about yourself, you may want to sit somewhere while thinking about
many things that may not be of value. However, with a bit of exercise the mind
is also renewed alongside the body.
Avoid
comparisons – Spending time looking at what others
have in life and what we do not always deals a blow to your confidence. It is
important to realise that there will be always people better or worse off than
you, and learn to embrace life as it is dealt to us. Think of yourself as a
unique person who has different talents as well as skills that set you apart
from others and celebrate them. However, if you notice lifestyle habits that
need to change, then you need to make changes for yourself and not to please
others.
Cheer
yourself up – This can be done in a number of ways
depending on the things that make you happy. For example, some ladies like to
go shopping and buy clothes that make them feel good about themselves and
increases their confidence as well. You can also go watch an uplifting movie or
have a date with friends that you know value your presence in their lives. Most
times when you know you are needed and valued you begin to feel cheerful and
happy with yourself.
Love
yourself – No matter how successful you become, you
can never feel good about who you are if you are not able to love yourself.
Loving yourself means that you accept yourself as you are, with both your
weaknesses and strengths irrespective of your stature in life. Avoid speaking
negatively about yourself but seek ways in recognizing your values and
contribution to the world around you.
Sally and I bought wishes this will help you feel good more about yourself. Until next time... happy weekend everyone.
