Learn By Heart: The Passion to Succeed

Are you a genius?
I believe there are geniuses. They are born with special genes that makes them extremely smart. Some of these includes Albert Einstein, Isaan Newton, Leonardo Da Vinci, and our national history, Jose Rizal. I admire their talent, but I do not envy them. I am glad to have met them through their books, writings, formulas, anecdotes, and inventions. I would be very happy to have met them personally, but right now time machines are yet to be invented by another genius, ( I don't know who that person will be), so I have to be satisfied with books, movies, and museums.

Learn by Heart Vs Learn by Mind
Some may consider this thought as highly philosophical ( people tend to consider vague topics, always philosophical); but what is the best way to learn?

Maya playing with Laptop

I have a niece, Maya, and I confess that she acts as my guinea pig from time to time. I love to analyze her expressions and observe her growth. I must admit that the new generation of kids are far more skilled, in terms of technology in comparison with my generation, simply because they grew with gadgets all around them. She is only two years old but she would take pictures of me using her mom's android phone and get good images. She will play with its video games and win over the opponent. She would turn on the Smart Television and sit in a relaxed fashion. She is a kid-geek, if I may say, and I fear she will be the youngest in the family who will wear eyeglasses.

In any case, does it mean that learning is something innate to us? Probably so!

Learning is a capacity to acquire new things and incorporate it into the mind. It involves habit so it can be wired to our brain cells. If you use it regularly then it can become a permanent feature of our own brain chip and it will forever remain inside of it no matter how old you are; but what is the best way to learn? Should I use my mind or shall I use my heart.

Okay now, this is the very first time I will be using my philosophical skills on this blog. Something that I failed to use for over a few years, since I left the Masters of Philosophy Realm and decided I wanted to live a normal brain life. hahaha

The Mystery Behind Mind Over Matter

This phrase has always baffled me. How can someone do extraordinary things that seem impossible only because of dedication and commitment. Bro. Eli Soriano and Bro. Daniel Razon has been preaching the Bible for over four decades and their lifestyle is beyond that which is fathamoble by science. Why do I say so?

They sleep less than four hours in a day. They travel numerous hours in a day. They work with much of stress everyday, yet they managed to move forward. They manage to continue to with their endeavors. They manage to proceed with their goals. It is then a manner of learning by mind or learn by heart?

I believe that science has done so much to explain the world around us and technology has provided much convenience in our life; but there are still many mysteries lurking in the world. It will remain a mystery unless people accept the fact that there are existing elements that are not visible to the naked eyes. It exists even if there is no image proving it. Our ability to challenge the norms of physics is proof of this. Our ability to violate the laws of nature and succeed is evidence of it. Our ability to prove the formula wrong is the signal that there is still more to be discovered in our world.

Why Learn by Heart is more Powerful

When you are learn by heart, you unite all your faculty to succeed with a single goal in mind. All forces are tuned into one direction. That united force moves you to do something incredible. That is the reason why some people manage to perform extraordinary things while others remain a commoner in life.

Remember the time when you wanted something so badly you had both your mind and your heart into it. You would sacrifice sleep, you would sacrifice food, and you would sacrifice leisure because you know the prize you will attain in the end is more valuable. You manage to become successful because you have set your mind into it....

I was tasked to perform a duty yesterday, I don't wish to fulfill. My mind could pretty much handle it. It involves simple accounting duties, but my heart kept saying NO, I don't want it. I ended up not liking the job and feeling frustrated over it. I had to pause and realize the source of the problem - ME and MY ATTITUDE.

Once I fixed that, the rest went smoothly. I understood the task and finished the role.

The same goes with our tasks. If your do not put these goals into your heart then it would fail. If you say you don't want it then you will not exert any effort to fulfill it. I guess that is what they refer to as PASSION.

If you have the PASSION for something you will give more than your 100% just to have this fulfilled. Therefore, if your endeavor are not leading you anywhere, then it must be because you do not have the PASSION. Add PASSION into your life. Learn by HEART and not by MIND alone. Give it your all and you are to SUCCEED.

Beat the enemy, the enemy that is yourself.
